Being Superman

It's not easy being superman
but it is a destiny I accept
to be a friend from a another star
bring forth sense of awe and myth
inspiration on Earth to do good.
It's not easy being superman
but it is a duty I uphold
to serve and give with no accolades
bring forth a sense of dignity to all
leader to make new paths in life.
It's not easy being superman
but it is the honor I abide
to protect and shield with my soul
bring forth the child in each one
shelter to those who may falter.
It's not easy being superman
but it is the love I give
to save the world with all my heart
bring forth the force of God in me
hero for you forevermore.
